Use a buffered window. This fixes the last of the GUI issues. Allows resizing and is very careful to update the graphics context only in the main thread (in this case, SM's main thread, not the GUI thread). It does so by managing the NSOpenGLContext explicitly rather than using NSOpenGLView to do it for us.

Ignore any part of the file before src. gcc replaces __FILE__ with the name of the file as it was passed to it. Xcode invokes gcc with absolute paths. This makes crash logs slightly easier to read.

Add method for passing one BOOL. Unlike NSObject's performSelector, an NSInvocation does not make any attempt to translate arguments. It just copies from the buffer passed to addArgument:atIndex: the size of paramter specified. A BOOL is one byte (as opposed to a _Bool bool, or boolean_t which are four bytes...) so it was copying just one byte of the address of the NSNumber object and invoking it with that.
