Set the close button to quit the application. Enable/disable the close button at the proper times. The user can still just quit in the middle of the installation using the application menu which might result in a file being left in /tmp but that's really their fault for quitting early isn't it?

Installer is now functional but not complete. It spits out error messages when it shouldn't. It copies the CVS directories into the archive. It doesn't honor the overwrite flag, it just always does what tar normally does. (Overwrites I assume...) It cannot get superuser privs yet for installing the libraries.
