# Release Instructions

Follow the steps below to tag a new release for the `actions/attest-sbom`
|
|
|
|
|
action.

1. Create a new release for the top-level action using a tag of the form
|
|
|
|
|
`vX.X.X` following SemVer conventions:
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
